Semen doses for your rabbit farm
The selected bucks from the meat lines are those that have grown 10% more than the rest in their batch. The selected bucks from mother lines are from the best qualified cross-breeding. Between seven and eight batches of bucks are brought in each year, each of these batches have higher performance figures than the previous ones. With this progress we are able to offer our customers continued improvement in production parameters, and exceptional health guarantees in the doses of semen.
Shipping is through external transport companies. The products are collected at our farm late in the evening and delivered to our clients before 10 o’clock the following morning for insemination.
Since 1998, Granja Jordán has been producing and selling semen doses from its rabbit genetic lines.
The insemination centre is separate from the selection farms, thus complying with an exceptional bio-safety standard for handling this type of product. Rabbits are brought in at 49 days old. All the animals come from the selection farm, and before entering the facility they go through a quarantine process.

The principal features consist of increasing the weight of the litter, thus improving food conversion.
Semen doses with the aim of providing the litter with a high growth rate, thus improving food conversion, brown coat to all offspring and black eyes.
Semen doses with the aim of crossing with the GPV grandparent doe to produce breeding does with the aim of facilitating self-replacement management (parent doe, cross-bred doe, F1…)
Bio-safety transport service
Granja Jordán takes charge of distributing all its products, either using its own or subcontracted resources:
Breeding rabbits: distribution of animals in Spain and other European countries is carried out using our own transport, in a closed van with climate control and certified by the official veterinary services for transporting live animals. When larger quantities or longer distances are required, we work with a specialist transport company with wide experience transporting live animals. With this type of transport we guarantee that the animals travel in optimum conditions, ensuring good adaptation at the destination farm.
Semen doses: Semen doses are delivered by specialist urgent transport companies.We ensure the products are shipped in the late evening from our farm, perfectly packed to avoid any negative effects of cold or heat, delivering them to our clients early the next morning.
Bio-safety during transport: Granja Jordan has its own disinfection centre, authorised by the official veterinary service, to disinfect vehicles every time they perform a service for us.

We have a team of inseminators with over 18 years experience. This is a service we offer our clients and also rabbit farmer training so that they can do it themselves.

Granja Jordán advises new rabbit farmers about the type of installations and facilities they should have, the quantity and type of animals, feed varieties to use according to physiology, and even the number of bands to work with...
